Preparation for Certified Professional in Distribution and Warehousing & Exam

The area of distribution, logistics and warehousing is a quickly blossoming type of business in the U.S. and other places. Warehouses and distribution centers are popping up everywhere as competition for immediate delivery increases. As this quickly growing business advances, the need for professionals in this field increases. The Certified Professional in Distribution and Warehousing (CPDW) program is designed to educate and train people in logistics, distribution, and warehousing management. Students who take this warehouse management course will be prepared for professional jobs in distribution centers and warehouses. Those who also apply for and earn the CPDW will convey their achievement and expertise to employers.

This exam preparation course includes the requirements for the Certified Professional in Distribution and Warehousing (CPDW) program. The warehouse management course includes the three online courses Distribution and Warehousing Management, Inventory for Distribution and Warehousing, and Management Operations and Logistics. This warehouse management online course also includes the CPDW examination. Students are allowed 45 days to take and review all of the courses and to take the examination. A minimum score of 75% must be achieved to qualify for the CPDW, which must be applied for separately. The application for the CPDW can be found on our Applying for Certification webpage.

Similar to many of our other self-running online courses each part of the CPDW training course will take approximately 2 to 3 hours to complete. Students will receive a certificate of completion.
 
If a student fails the exam it may be taken again for a $80 setup fee. The exam can be taken up to three times.

The self-running online warehousing logistics courses are attended via the Internet. They require up to two or three continuous hours of attendance. Students are initially contacted by email with instructions on how to take the course for which they have registered. Students may attend the course at any time during the day. This makes the warehouse management classes more convenient for students. All materials are included in the price of the course and will be available online while attending classes. These courses are nonrefundable. Instructions for these courses are usually sent within a few days of registration.
